Johanna Benotti, NCIDQ, WELL AP

Johanna Benotti is an interior designer who has always thought outside the box. Considering herself to be a 'design coach', she engages each client to collaborate in the process, and shares her expertise with trade tricks and tips along the way. A believer that great design should be available to everyone, she created Glohaus as a way to make premium interior design services attainable.

Johanna has 20 years of high-end residential and hospitality design experience with projects spanning across the US. After earning a BFA in Sculpture from Boston University, she went on to receive an Interior Design degree at Parsons School of Design in NYC.

She spent the first ten years of her career in Manhattan, working in boutique interior design firms, designing residences in NYC and the Hamptons. No design emergency too big, her favorite memories were whirlwind accessory shopping sprees, packing taxi cabs full of flowers for photo shoots, and even being filmed for a reality tv show! After returning to her home state of Massachusetts in 2013, she gained extensive design experience with prominent hospitality and commercial projects nation-wide.

Johanna is NCIDQ and WELL AP certified, committed to living healthfully through interiors. Since your environment directly impacts the way you live your life, all her designs center around beauty, function and wellness.

Currently, Johanna lives in Melrose, MA with her husband and two children.  She loves spending her spare time painting, cooking and exploring estate sales. Not afraid to dive into DIY projects herself, she's currently giving her very old house 'new' Glohaus treatment!

Johanna's professional interior design portfolio is available upon request.
